Sharon had a selfless and caring heart, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Family was at the center of Sharon’s life; her greatest joy was being a caring wife, devoted Mom and cherished Mimi. She found happiness in life’s simple beauties; tending to the flowers in her yard, spending peaceful days at the beautiful Dennis beaches, listening to country music, decorating her home for the holidays, cooking delicious meals and creating lasting memories with her beloved family, including many special trips to New York City to see Broadway shows. Her warmth, kindness, love and strength will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her and she will be deeply missed and remembered always.

Monahan of South Dennis; her daughters, Ann-Marie (Fanning) Shaw and her husband John of West Yarmouth, Lynn Fanning Maranda of Yarmouth Port, Meaghan Monahan of South Dennis and son, Christopher Fanning and his partner Jamie Perry of South Dennis. She was the loving Mimi to granddaughters Isabella Shaw and Madison & Jillian Maranda. She leaves behind her brother Albert Sjogren and his wife Sue of Paxton, is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Potter, and remained close to her brother-in-law Doug, of Chichester, NH. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
