Rev. Dr. Michael Robert Stotts, 80, of Barnstable, MA passed July 4, 2026, at the Mayflower Place Skilled Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Colusa, CA to Rev. Dr. Herbert E. and wife Gwen Stotts on Feb. 5, 1946. He attended Lexington High School and graduated in 1965. He received his master’s degree in 1971 and his doctorate in 1990 from Boston College. Michael was Ordained in the Methodist ministry in 1971. He served as a Pastor for the United Methodist Church for over 30 years.

Michael is survived by his 3 sisters and 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Peggy, his parents and one sister.
