John “Jack” Comly Jr., 88, of Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Lee Comly.

Born in Philadelphia on June 2, 1938, Jack was the son of the late John and Alice Starkey Comly. He graduated from Dickinson College with a degree in economics and went on to build a successful career in wealth management at Fidelity Bank and later the Glenmede Trust Company.

Jack raised his family in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and spent his retirement years on Cape Cod, where he enjoyed gardening, golf, and the Cape Cod Baseball League. He was also an active member of Northside United Methodist Church of Brewster.

In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his children, Leslie and her husband Michael Knapp, and Courtney Comly; as well as three grandchildren, Kyle, Brendan, and Logan Knapp. He is predeceased by his brother David Comly.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
