Everett E. Wentzell died at his home in East Dennis, MA on September 1, 2026 at the age of 99.  He was born and grew up in Worcester, MA, the son of Charles and Ella (LeBlanc) Wentzell.  Everett was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, neighbor and friend.  He loved his pets, golf, watching his sons play sports (never missing a game), family gatherings, fixing things, the Red Sox, Patriots and the daily Jumble Puzzle.
 
Most of all, he loved his wife of 69 years, Dorothy (Johnson) Wentzell, who passed away in 1991.  They
lived in Holden, Rutland, and for the past 30 years in Dennis.  Everett also loved his sons, Ron and his wife Debbie and their daughter Olivia of Haley, Idaho, and John and his wife, Nancy of Westborough and their sons, Peter of Westborough and Jack of Los Angeles.
 
Evy will be remembered as the guy in the neighborhood who everyone loved.  May he rest in peace. The family will hold a private ceremony at a later date.
