Brian E. Bigelow, 75, of South Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Donna Bigelow, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.

Born in Webster, Massachusetts, Brian was the son of the late Edward and Virginia Bigelow. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1968 and earned a degree in finance from Nichols College. He served as Director of Purchasing at the Worcester Housing Authority.

Brian was a member of West Yarmouth Congregational Church and previously belonged to the United Church of Christ in Webster. He enjoyed camping, attending antique car shows, classic cars, square dancing, and riding with his motorcycle club, The Friendly Riders.

Brian had a compassionate heart and shared his love generously with those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Donna, he leaves his stepchildren and their spouses: Kathleen Courtney and James Baker, Cynthia and Tom Krans, and Pamela Spiewakowski, all of Dudley; and Maryann and David Johnson of Plymouth. He also leaves 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; siblings Bruce and Tina Bigelow, Cindy Noe, and Jodi Christopher; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Trixie.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Hallett Funeral Home.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff at Cape Cod Hospital for their compassion and for making Brian’s comfort a priority.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brian’s memory to Cape Cod Hospital.
