Philip M. Kerrivan 85 of Brewster and formerly of Newtonville died Friday March 31, 2017 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.
Born in Boston, and raised and educated in Newtonville, Mr. Kerrivan was the son of the late Philip A. and Lillian M. (Martin) Kerrivan. He was a graduate of Boston College and he received his Master’s Degree from Babson College.
Mr. Kerrivan served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged with the rank of Specialist 3rd Class in 1955.
For many years, Mr. Kerrivan worked as an accountant and a manager at Raytheon. He was a member of the Boston College Alumni Association, Cape Cod Chapter and enjoyed collecting antiques and artwork.
Mr. Kerrivan is survived by two nephews, Philip B. Davidson and his wife, Irene of Glen Burnie, MD, and Francis M. Davidson and his wife, Jo Anne of Manassas, VA; a niece, Elizabeth Davidson Hoover of Arlington, VA; and several grand nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday April 8 in Holyhood Cemetery, 584 Heath St., Brookline.
Visiting hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday April 7 in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth.
